Joshua Wilson
Weddington Chiropractic Wellness Center is excited to welcome Joshua, our licensed massage and bodywork therapist. In 2009, Joshua attended and graduated from Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC. Since his graduation, Joshua has continued to pursue his passion for bodywork. His current area of specialization is deep tissue massage (DTM) and neuromuscular techniques (NMT); however, Joshua is committed to expanding his knowledge and expertise in other areas of massage therapy and bodywork as well as other beneficial alternative therapies such as Kinesio Taping (now a Certified Level II taper), Nutrition and Yoga.
Joshua's initial exposure to massage was after a rock climbing accident during his senior year in college. This personal connection to massage and body work convinced him of its beneficial effects to maintain proper health and well-being.
Joshua and his wife Ashley (high school sweethearts) have been married a little over 1 year and just moved here from Pittsburg, PA in February 2009. Ashley is a PA specializing in spinal medicine but has hopes to become a yoga teacher some day. Hiking, walking their two dogs, Miles and Maggie and yoga are some of the things that they love doing together.
